Knowledge, Narratives and Devices: The Future of “How to” Live at Home. Talk at the IKEA Democratic Design Day, Lausanne, 22nd September 2017

Antonio Scarponi / Conceptual Devices will deliver a talk on “Knowledge, Narratives, and Devices: Future of “How to” Live at Home” hosted in Lausanne at ECAL by IKEA for the annual Democratic Design Day.

Once a year and in addition to the main event in Älmhult IKEA Switzerland organizes the Democratic Design Day, either in Lausanne or in Zurich. The scope of this event is to explore questions on how we will live and design the spaces and products that define and constitute our home and everyday life. Join us this year as we invite some of the most promising speakers to share with us their thoughts and visions on what the future of living at home will look like.

Under the motto ‘The Future of Living at Home’, Democratic Design Day 2017 will take place on 22 September at ECAL in Lausanne. On this occasion, IKEA is inviting a selection of designers, architects, and sociologists to reflect on the question of how we will be living at home in the future.
