Antonio Scarponi is the founder of Conceptual Devices. He studied architecture at Cooper Union, NY and holds a M. A. and PhD in Urban Design from IUAV, Venice. From 2006 to 2008 he taught “Communicative Spaces” and from 2009 “Reflective Design” at KTH, Stockholm; from 2009 he also teaches at NABA, Milan. He has lectured at schools of architecture and design throughout Europe and the U.S and his work has been exhibited at galleries and museums internationally. In 2008 he was nominated as one of the five recipients of the first edition of the Curry Stone Design Prize.
